WORKSHOPS
Workshops will are held on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year from 10 AM to 5 PM. The cost of the workshop is $30.00 not including materials.
You can chose from several different styles of baskets for the workshop. All baskets are posted at the store.

April 6th and 7th.
Come and join us at our annual weaving retreat weekend in January.
Here are the new workshop baskets being offered ~
Heather's Basket is a very large market basket with a three step braided border. Weaving level: beginner to advanced.
Double Wall Twill basket is woven on a Nantucket style base with the inside wall woven in a twill weave and the outside woven in a continuos weave accented with ti-twining. Optional kit may be purchased for this workshop. Cost for kit is $16.00. Weaving level: advanced.
Lita's Cotton Basket Is a large basket with two round swing handles. There are two designs to choose from for this basket. The design shown is accented with triple weave and Japanese Diamond weave using 1/4 half round and #3 round reed. The second design uses smoked reed and bleached cane for the accent and the Japanese diamond weave.
Drawer Baskets This is a great way to organize your closet! The pattern will include all three sizes of drawers and designs with recessed handles or swing handles.
Double Wall Bucket Basket This is a simple double wall woven with smoked reed in a twill design with an overlay of contrasting reed.
Rick-Rack Basket This is a very pretty basket woven with two shades of the same color. The walls are woven with a simple step up pattern in a twill weave design.
The" Hot Bun Basket" is woven with all round reed and accented with a continuous Japanese diamond weave. This is a great basket to learn shaping techniques.
The "Oval Gretchen Market" basket has a unique solid bottom. The sides are woven with a contrasting dyed reed and the rim is a double gretchen border.
Marilyn's Shopping Basket-This oval basket is woven on a Nantucket style base. The sides are woven in a step-up chase weave and it is finished with a braided border.
Betty's Garden- This is a very pretty basket that has two sizes included with the pattern. The smaller size is great for a flower girl basket. It has a unique arrow wrapped handle and is finished with a reverse gretchen border.
Tuesdays Embroidery Stitch Basket-This is a simple market basket accented with an embroidery stitch design.
Arrow Twill Market-A large market basket woven in a twill weave. The arrow design in the center of the basket is woven with two shades of the same color.
These are just a few of the new baskets offered at this time. Check your calendars and call early to reserve a space.
