QUILT SHOW BASKETS OFFERED FOR 2011!

I have been teaching classes at the Houston International Quilt show for several years. Each year I have an opportunity to meet some wonderful and talented people! Please join us this year and see for yourself how much fun basket weaving can be!

We have three all day classes offered this year,  Arrow Tote(116), Embroidery Market Basket (223) and Butterscotch Grab and Go (326).

  Arrow Tote- Class #116 on Monday. Learn a ridge weave and a decorative arrow design on a solid woven base. This large tote has long leather handles-ideal for all day shopping! Color choices will be available.

   Embroidery Market Basket-   Class #223 on Tuesday. Learn to weave a solid base basket (no holes here!) accented with an embroidery design. This basket has a beautiful hand carved oak handle! The size of this basket is perfect for storing fat quarter, assorted rulers or even your favorite craft books. Color choices will be available. Students will weave the large basket of the set of three. Included with each kit will be the pattern for the two smaller baskets. Additional kits will be available.

Butterscotch Grab 'N Go-  Class #326. This cute basket is accented with braided seagrass, dyed cane and comfortable leather handles. It is the perfect size to hold your lunch wallet, keys, water bottle and anything else that you may need to grab 'n go! Several color choices will be available.

Okay! So she got ahead of me!	Look Ma I did it!	Are you sure I can't use a little glue?	Is there an easier way to do this? I feel like I am sewing!	I have got to hurry! I only have a few hours left to shop!
I know there has to be a short cut for this step!	Teacher! She took my reed!	Well I am done! What's taking the rest of you so long!	She is not looking now, I'll just cut right here!	Hey! If you hold it just little to the left, up to the right and hold your head to the right like this-its real easy!
I know I will finish last-but then you all can pick up the mess while you're waiting for me to finish!	Why is it so easy for her to do it!	I am finished! The first time I will go home with a completed project!	Hey! Mine looks just like the teachers!	Look Ma no glue!
How am I going to fit this in my suitcase!	I may have finished last-but isn;t it beautiful!
